Bordering on balmy out there, but exceedingly gray. We do love the sun, there is nothing like those beaming rays to remind us how great it is to be alive on Planet Earth.
Lots of gray paint this morning to go with the gray sky. I'm on the second half of the porch deck and had the great idea this morning that I would sand out the bugs, twigs, leaves and tennis shoe footprints from my windy paint job the other day. Not. That industrial enamel is nothing to fool around with. If you've got a bug interred in it, might as well give it up unless you want to sand the whole mess down to the undercoat. Proving once again that if you screw something up, making it whole again is a whole lot more work than you ever thought it would be. Like teeth, for instance. Once those babies pass a certain point, it's like resurrecting the dead. I have one tooth in my mouth that probably has had close to $5000 in dental work slavered on it over the last 20 years. Totally freaking preventable. Sigh.
